Collection of Thirteen 19th Century Copper Egg Poacher Pans
Date: 19th Century
Lovely set of large antique copper pans.
Hand-hammered, tin lined with hand cast brass handles.
I'm told they where used for egg-poaching or maybe for cooking snails (escagots).
Either way this is a pretty decorative and impressive collection for a restaurant or kitchen.
the height of the highest pan (with handles) is 15cm (5.9inches)
the biggest has a diameter of 47cm (18.5 inches)
the smallest has a diameter of 30cm (1.8 inches)
this is measured without the handles.
