19th Century Victorian Amber Glass Enamelled Flower Carafe by Legras
Dimensions: H 13,5 cm W 9 cm D 9 cm
Sweet little handblown carafe or decanter in amber glass with a very detailed enamel decor of flower, berries and leaves.
It has a blue handle. Visible pontil, Legras' initial and number '44' on the bottom.
(A pontil is the scar where the pontil, punty or punt was broken from a work of blown glass. The presence of such a scar indicates that a glass bottle or bowl was blown freehand).
This little carafe was made in 1888 and is in perfect condition.
