A Beautiful articulated plaster cast of a Human Arm. Great muscular structure. There is a rope on the inside where it used to hang from in storage. Used at the Rijksacademie in Amsterdam for teaching anatomy in drawing and sculpting. The Rijksacademie was founded in 1870 and artists like Toorop, Berlage, Breitner, Mondriaan, Appel and Corneille all studied here.
