Very pretty set of 17 pieces brass and copper hand made skimmers also know as strainers, seives or colanders. All made in the 19th century by hand either forged, wrought, cast or cut.

Collected from all over Europe until we had enough to present you this decorative set.

Skimmers where (and are) used for skimming cooking liquids (like soups) or lifting ripened cream from milk or to lift fried food items from hot oil.

The largest is 66cm long 22cm wide and 7cm deep (45.98"x8.66"x2.76")
The smallest is 45cm long 18cm wide and 3cm deep (17.72"x7.09"x1.81")
